The New Choices program staff offer job readiness training to find employment or better employment. Staff assists participants in identifying issues that could be barriers to employment, and advocates for participants through the entire process to self-sufficiency.
We even have an on-site Career Closet to assist you in preparation for an upcoming job interview!

***Financial assistance may be provided to assist clients with housing needs as long as clients meet both CEED and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) requirements.
New Choices Program Eligibility
- Income at or under federal poverty guidelines
- Willingness to sign CEED New Choices Program Agreement Contract
- Compliance with program guidelines
- Ability to reach self-sufficiency
Mandatory Orientation sessions are currently being held twice a month. Applicants will learn more about the New Choices Program requirements as well as the part they themselves need to play in becoming self sufficient. Preregistration is required.
CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE ORIENTATION.
