One in five people in Fayetteville, NC Metro Area live below the poverty line, a number that is 5% higher than the national average. Women ages 25-44 are the largest demographic living in poverty. The Center for Economic Empowerment and Development exists solely to support those who are looking to change their current situation by empowering them with the resources, education, and assistance needed to find success.
Dancing with the Fayetteville Stars brings together local professionals for a spectacular one-night competition! This is a production that you won’t want to miss! But more importantly, each dance team is also raising funds! The proceeds from what each team raises will directly support the many programs and services provided by CEED. So pick your favorite dance team and vote for them by making a donation. Every $5 equals 1 vote! And every donation makes a direct impact on the lives of the people we serve!
Dancing With the Fayetteville Stars is a great way to be involved in your community, showcase your organization, and contribute to an incredible cause – through dancing, volunteering, or sponsoring. Our competitors dance for around 90 seconds, and the winner is the dance team who raises the most support for CEED during the months leading up to and the night of the event. It is a fun and exciting experience! This event will be held Saturday, April 21st, 2018 at 6pm at the ALL-NEW, high-end event venue – The Barn at McCormick Farms. Tickets are sold by the table only, so round up your friends and family and make it a night to remember! The theme for the 2018 show is A Night in Emerald City! Support your dancer, buy a table, and don your fanciest green attire!
