Below are descriptions of our volunteer needs. If you are interested in more than one type of volunteer opportunity indicate your interest on your application. We are seeking volunteers to participate in the following:
EVENTS AND PROMOTIONS

CEED hosts various events throughout the year, and we’re always looking for ambitious folks who would like to be part of our events. Tasks may include greeting and registering guests, ticketing, seating and, etc. To apply click HERE.
Volunteer Manager
Work with CEED staff to design, implement, and oversee an exemplary volunteer program. Initial design of the program will include driving the process of deciding for or against use of volunteer management software. Ongoing oversight of the program will include working with staff on selection, on-boarding, management, recognition, and evaluation of volunteers.
CEED Programs Marketing Volunteer
Help us publicize our classes, workshops and events. Find creative ways to improve our marketing strategies to promote the organization. In addition to developing new marketing ideas and strategies the Marketing Volunteer will connect with clients and conduct interviews to create content for our monthly newsletter. We are looking for someone who is social media savvy.

The business center provides resources to help business owners to succeed. From registering the business to hiring the first employee, we’re here to help start and grow local small businesses. Individual Counseling For Our Business Planning Clients
Qualified mentors are invited to join us for our bi-quarterly counseling nights, and mentor our business planning clients in a one-on-one setting.
Business Plan Reviewer
During a 90 minute training session, mentors are taught how to review a business plan, and then paired with our business planning clients to review and discuss their plans.
Outcomes Tracking Volunteer
We are seeking a skilled and creative Outcomes Tracker Volunteer to help us track the successes of new entrepreneurs who have participated in our programs. Tasks include inputting data from clients who attend CEED Entrepreneurship Classes and Events, tabulate and analyze client evaluations, administer a telephone survey to former clients to track successes, write up success stories of clients who have made significant strides in their business.
NEW CHOICES PROGRAM

Our New Choices Program works with individuals and families who want to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Counseling for Clients – Volunteers may work with individuals and families who are unemployed, under-employed, who may be facing eviction and want to progress toward independence. This is a great opportunity for those looking to establish or develop a career in the social services field. To apply click HERE.
